AlertLoop Privacy Policy

AlertLoop is provided by Rampage Apps. This policy explains how AlertLoop handles information when you use the Android or Windows app.

Information We Process

• An internal anonymous account identifier, device identifier, app version, platform, and push registration identifier.
• The display name you choose, group membership, group roles, invitations, member blocks, and reports.
• Messages, alert type, sender information, timestamps, read position, and optional photo attachments that you choose to send.
• Basic operational records needed to deliver, secure, diagnose, and prevent abuse of the service.

The Google Play edition does not read notifications from other apps. Notification forwarding exists only in a separately distributed USB edition and is disabled by default.

Camera, Photos, Notifications, and Overlays

Camera and photo access are used only after you choose to capture or attach a photo. Notification access and display-over-apps access are requested so AlertLoop can present incoming alerts. You can revoke these permissions in device settings; a standard notification may be used when full-screen presentation is unavailable.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate app installations, manage private groups, deliver and display messages, synchronize read state, provide support, secure the service, investigate reports, and maintain reliability.

Service Providers

AlertLoop uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and realtime delivery, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android wake-up signals. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell personal information and do not use messages or photos for advertising.

Retention and Deletion

Information is retained while needed to operate groups and deliver messages, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Group owners may remove access, and users may leave groups. You may request deletion at https://rampageapps.com/delete-data/alertloop. We may ask for information needed to locate and verify the app identity associated with the request.

Security

Network traffic uses encrypted HTTPS or secure WebSocket connections. Access is restricted through authenticated requests and database row-level security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security or delivery.

Children

AlertLoop is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
